Day 1:

Greeting at Chiang Mai International Airport. Transfer to hotel. Time at leisure. In the evening, you’ll enjoy aKhantoke Dinner, a Northern Thai traditional dinner show (not applicable if arrival on night flight).

Day 2:

Visit Doi Suthep Temple, the landmark of Chiang Mai, situated on the Doi Suthep mountain which is 1,053 meters height. You’ll be able to enjoy the panoramic view of Chiang Mai and the cool air of the mountain. The visit will then continue to the Phuping Palace, the winter residence of the King of Thailand since 1961. After lunch, you’ll be taken to the Center of handicraft products of Chiang Mai; Thai silk factory, Umbrella making center, Silver factory, Gems Gallery and Wood carving factory. You’ll be shown the process of manufacturing and you’ll be able to buy incredible souvenirs. Then we’ll take you back to the hotel where you’ll have free time for the rest of the evening.

Day 3:

Experience 1 day Elephant Safari. We will bring you to the Maetaman elephant camp, home to 60 elephants. There you’ll enjoy feeding and taking photos with smart elephants before the elephant show where elephants demonstrate skills by playing football, painting, transporting logs etc. After that, take a ride on elephant through jungle and then a ride on a traditional oxcart. The visit will continue to a Lisu Tribal Village. After lunch, you’ll cruise downthe Maetaman river on a bamboo raft. We will then take you to the Padong Village (Long Neck Karen) where you’ll observe the village and learn how and why the women wear the brass ring for their whole life.

Day 4:

Day trip to Chiang Rai, the northernmost province in Thailand bordering Burma and Laos. Start the trip in the morning by visiting Mae-kha-chan Hot spring. On the way to Chiangrai, enjoy the mountaineous view and visitWat Rong Khun (the White Temple), a very beautiful temple made by one of the most famous artist of Thailand. After that the visit continue to Maesai border market (Thai-Burma border). After lunch, visit the Golden Triangle, a place where the territory of the three countries (Thai-Laos and Burma) meets on the Mekhong River. Drive back to Chiang Mai.

Day 5:

Time at leisure. Transfer to Chiang Mai International Airport.
